Becki was commissioned by Wonderwall Floral to create branding elements, all inspired by nature and with a sustainable style focus.

Working closely with Nat, Wonderwall Floral’s founder, Becki conceptualised all assets and elements including logos, motifs, hand-lettering and colours. SKATEBOARD CAFE

REGULAR ILLUSTRATION CONTRIBUTOR

Becki has been working with Skateboard Cafe for the last four seasons, illustrating ranges for use across decks and apparel in her signature floral style. Summer 2018 saw Becki commissioned to create her first designs for Skateboard Cafe. The illustrated designs drew upon Becki’s painterly style, including watercolour florals and repeat patterns.

Following the Summer 2018 design range, Becki was commissioned to illustrate for Skateboard Cafe’s Summer 2019 seasonal collection. Becki illustrated a whimsical, pastel-hued floral bouquet design with hand lettered motifs for this range, which went on to be used across decks, two colour ways of apparel and accessories. The floral design, in Becki’s signature style, was also embroidered onto clothing.

Becki was delighted to be commissioned for another design in Winter 2019 for Skateboard Cafe. Becki illustrated a flowerbed design for use across apparel, decks and accessories. This playful, crayon-feel design was created in two colour ways and like much of Becki’s illustrative work, was inspired by the gardens she often enjoys visiting. Alongside the floral illustrations, Becki’s hand lettering was also used throughout.

Painted in gouache paint, the bright and fun floral prints featuring Becki’s hand lettering could be pulled out and framed, whilst the botanical patterns successfully lent themselves to many of Mollie Makes’ contemporary craft projects for modern makers.

Becki was commissioned to illustrate seasonal paper designs for Mollie Makes’ Issue 142. Using inspiration from her Spring Summer nature journal, Becki created eight designs in line with the bright, bold, cheerful floral brief. The colour palettes were reflective of the season and celebrated the joyful abundance of colour found in nature during the warmer months.
