CRAFT COMMISSION

Modern Calligraphy & Lettering is a luxury print magazine introducing the craft of modern calligraphy, with expert advice from leading calligraphers and achievable yet inspirational projects for reader’s newly acquired lettering skills. Becki contributed to the first two issues; The Beginner’s Guide to Modern Calligraphy and Modern Calligraphy and Lettering 2, with a double page designer profile, a step by step guide to using watercolour paints to create ombre lettering and a Christmas craft project creating brush lettered place names with brush pens. All were devised by Becki and delivered with step by step guides and images, as well as final styled shots.

With a focus on brush lettering and simple tips and tricks to get started, Becki was able to draw on her extensive experience of teaching workshops to make sure the craft projects were both achievable and delivered in an easy to understand and follow way.

Becki was incredibly proud to have her work feature on the front cover of the second issue.
