5 Ways to Create your own Garden Table Decor with Hobbycraft

The sun has been shining and I’m sure a lot of us are spending more time in our gardens socialising than ever before so I’m really excited to share this recent project I was commissioned to create, style & shoot for Hobbycraft creating a collection of step by step craft tutorials on how to make your own garden decor set. The collection of beginner friendly craft projects range from making your own natural rope placemats, sewing a contrasting coloured napkin set, upcycling candles with a twisty makeover, making simple washi garlands to hang across your table to arranging floral jam jars & mini bud vases with seasonal blooms. If you’re new to crafting this is the perfect opportunity to get started, the projects are simple to make but have beautiful results (give the rope placemats a try first) & if you’re a crafting pro you’ll be able to make these up in no time, the hard bit will be choosing which fabric to use from your stash, I’m definitely going to make up a few more of the napkins with some gingham fabric.

As well as the step by step tutorials for each of the craft projects there’s also tips and tricks for styling your table to create a fun inviting tablescape perfect for those evenings of twinkly lights, friends, food and fizz!
