These online sessions are designed for beginners to explore a range of materials and learn something new, the sessions were recorded in 2024 and once purchased you will have access to for a year so you can watch and enjoy at your own pace.

Spring Sessions

Session 1 - Easter card painting - £15

1 hour Pre-recorded workshop
Learn how to paint with watercolours to create ditsy floral patterns and wreath designs, perfect to use as Easter card illustrations or Spring prints. Becki will work through step by step how to paint 10 motifs before sharing how to combine them together into patterns and floral wreath illustrations.

You will need a set of watercolours, sketchbook, pencil and cards (these are optional, you can always enjoy the workshop in your sketchbook)

Session 2- Painting Easter Ceramics- £15

1 hour Pre-recorded workshop
A session exploring working with watercolours to decorate Easter ceramics, Becki will work through a range of illustrative motifs helping you gain confidence with the paints before working step-by-step onto the ceramics to create 3 floral inspired designs together.

You will need a set of watercolour paints, sketchbook paper and 3 Easter Egg ceramics to work onto.

Session 3 - Mono colour seasonal painting - £15

45 minute Pre-recorded workshop
Learn how to paint with a single colour to create mono colour illustrations. Becki will work through how to paint a variety of seasonal flowers using watercolour, focusing on the movement, shape and composition whilst working in a singular colour.

You will need a set of watercolours, size 3 paint brush & sketchbook paper

Session 4- Explore seasonal nature with oil pastels- £15

1 hour Pre-recorded workshop
A session exploring working with oil pastels to capture seasonal nature, Becki will work through techniques for blending colours, creating textures and showing step by step how to illustrate a range of seasonal flowers and foliage with tips and tricks for creating style with your illustrations.

You will need a set of oil pastels & sketchbook paper.

Session 5 - Painting Seasonal florals with gouache - £15

45 minute Pre-recorded workshop
Learn how to use gouache paints to capture the magic of May. Becki will introduce the paints with simple exercises to build confidence with colour mixing and paint application before working through step by step how to paint seasonal florals to create 2 beautiful floral designs. Becki will share tips and tricks along the way for creating texture, movement and flow in your paintings as well as sharing ideas for how to use the motifs for other designs.

You will need a set of gouache paints, size 3 paint brush & textured card.

Session 6- Explore seasonal nature with pencils- £15

1 hour Pre-recorded workshop
A session exploring the nature of the month with pencils, Becki will work through exercises to help you gain confidence with the pencils before showing how to illustrate seasonal nature including cow parsley, lilac, peonies, cornflowers and more, sharing tips and tricks for creating a balanced design with depth created with just one pencil.

You will need a HB Pencil & sketchbook paper.
