5 Ways to make your own Celebration Decor with Hobbycraft

Now more than ever it’s time to celebrate the little things so whether it’s a birthday or just friends over for drinks in the garden, lets craft and celebrate together. I’ve created a new collection of beginner friendly projects with Hobbycraft ranging from making your own string decorations (perfect for balloons, lanterns or just to drape around the garden), crafting fabric party hats ideal for using up scrap fabric from your stash, customising crates with washi tape and painterly details as well as hand lettering your drinks menus and paper cutting floral garlands...

When it comes to hand lettering I know it can seem a little overwhelming so I’ve also created a downloadable guide that you can print out and practice your alphabet and joining letters with to get your confidence up before working onto the glass. And the papercut floral garland also has a set of downloadable templates that you can pop in the cricut design space if you have one or hand cut with scissors.

You can view the full collection of crafts here and I’d love to see if you feel inspired to make something!
